D3O® + Plush padding — D3O® pads + A.I. air-channel padding at the tailbone and seat, with Plush pads cushioning the hips and thighs.
D3O® tailbone pad — Rate-sensitive D3O® that stays soft while you ride and firms up under compression, with a thin integrated shell face that resists scuffs. Removable for washing.
A.I. Plush Padding™ (Air Pad Integrated) — Zone-mapped air-channel padding that varies softness and airflow as you move, so the shorts feel like part of you rather than something strapped on.
T.P.S. V2 (Total Padding System) — A modular insert with 2 inches of multi-directional adjustability; slide and lock the tailbone pad where your body and riding style want it.
C.B.I.S. (Cross-Belt Integration System) — Dual overlapping tension straps hold the waist and stop the pad array from sagging or rotating, without cutting off circulation.
X-Connect compatible — Links to a Demon X top to close the lower-to-upper-body gap and add a low lumbar pad. Works with V4–V7 systems.
All-day wearability — Ventilated Lycra/mesh blend — lightweight, moisture-wicking and low-profile under snow, ski or MTB pants.

Included black foam insert is optional extra cushioning, not structural — many riders remove it for a lower-profile fit. The black T.P.S. insert is the primary adjustable element.

Inserts: the D3O® T6 hip pad, certified by D3O to EN 1621-1, is used at the tailbone. The finished shorts are CE marked as Category I padding; no performance level is claimed for the garment.

Intended use

For snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking only. Not for motorsports. Designed to cushion minor impacts and reduce bruising, scuffs and abrasions from falls typical of these sports. No protective equipment can prevent serious injury. Fit it snug, check it for damage before each use, and replace it if it is cracked, torn or worn.

For park, freeride, all-mountain and technical MTB riders who want the most adjustable padding in the range. Riders who want a simpler, lower-profile short should look at the Zero PLUS RF.
